Show openers Otherwise put on an amazing performance and did a fantastic job of amping up the crowd and setting the bar high for the rest of the evenings performances. (Columbia) and triumph with two North American legs of The Global Warming Tour on which prisoners were indeed taken, Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) are ramping up 2013 with the release of the album’s new single, “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You.”

(PCM) Dead Can Dance have partnered with Genero.tv to give filmmakers and music video directors the chance to make the music video for “Children of the Sun,” one of the highlights on their 2012 album Anastasis. The contest runs through March 4 and those interested can enter and see the official rules at http://genero.tv/deadcandance/. The winner will receive £3,000 (approximately $4,700) and have their creation used as the official music video for “Children of the Sun.” Outstanding videos will also be nominated for the 2013 Genero Awards. Dead Can Dance and Genero will choose the finalists and winners.

(PCM) THE FLAMING LIPS and Warner Bros. Records are pleased to announce the long-awaited release of The Terror, their thirteenth studio album, on April 2^nd in the U.S., and April 1^stthrough Bella Union in Europe. The album was produced by the band’s long-time collaborator Dave Fridmann and THE FLAMING LIPS at Tarbox Road Studios. It is comprised of nine original compositions that reflect a darker-hued spectrum than previous works, along with a more inward-looking lyrical perspective than one might expect – but then again, maybe not. (PCM) Los-Angeles based indie-rock trio Falling Still have exclusively revealed the cover art for their upcoming self-titled EP here on PCM! The highly anticipated new EP will be released on February 26th and the record boasts six anthems that are as gritty as they are catchy. The group thrives on extremes, and they’re locked and loaded on Falling Still.

The new EP was produced and engineered by Michael Parnin (Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Rage Against The Machine) at Blacksound Studio in Pasadena, CA. The four configurations are as follows: A standard retail version pressed on 140-gram black vinyl (3,000 units), a direct-to-consumer version on 180-gram black vinyl with foil-stamped numbered jackets (1,000 units), an international edition pressed on 180-gram vinyl, and an exclusive edition sold through Hot Topic retailers pressed on 140-gram clear-colored vinyl (1,500 units).
