Demi Lovato Readies New Single, Frank Turner Gears Up To Hit The Road And More Music News!

  • DEMIMadeinUSAMulti-platinum Hollywood Records recording artist, Demi Lovato, is set to release “Made In The USA,” the new single from her critically acclaimed fourth studio album, Demi“Made In The USA” highlights Demi’s soulful vocal flourishes accented by the song’s ringing guitars and steady backbeat.  “Made In The USA” will ship to Top 40 Radio stations June 27, on the eve of Demi’s performance on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series.  The cover art was photographed by Rankin and reflects Demi’s playful side and suits the tone of this love song perfectly. On June 26, the “Made In The USA” lyric video will premiere on VEVO, with the official music video premiere to follow in July.  Demi will be making an appearance on Good Morning America on June 27 and performing the follow day in Central Park on the ABC show.  The following week, Demi will be performing with The Roots on VH1’s Philly 4th of July Jam.  Lovato will announce more details on the official music video premiere. This marks the first time Demi has co-directed a video, and she has some special surprise actors appearing in the clip.

 

  • Eric Zayne, the new artist from What if Records, has recently premiered the music video for his latest song “Maneater“. The track is a personification of Eric’s struggles in life, but is definitely a concept that everyone can relate to at one point or another.  Eric Zayne’s musical style is a unique blend of pop and rock elements mixed with funk to create a style that is very much all his own.  Check out the full video below!

 

  • Frank-Turner1One of the U.K.’s favorite singer/songwriters Frank Turner will be returning to the States this fall for a massive headlining tour with his band The Sleeping Souls. The 42-date North American road trip launches October 4 at Cleveland’s Beachland Ballroom and wraps November 30 at Boston’s iconic House of Blues, giving Turner a chance to reach more fans in more cities following his dash through the U.S. this summer. The Smith Street Band and Koo Koo Kanga Roo support Turner on his “Tape Deck Heart North America” tour.   •  Duck Sauce, the Grammy-nominated duo consisting of Fool’s Gold trendsetting boss A-Trak and house legend Armand Van Helden, are putting the final touches on their debut studio album, Quack, due for release this fall on Casablanca records. Together they shuffle into the summer with the absurdly catchy single “It’s You” and an equally bonkers, hair-raising video by acclaimed director Philip Andelman. Duck Sauce plan to shake things up with Quack, coming later this year. This isn’t your typical dance album: Quack pushes the boundaries of house music and sampling into an absurdly visual listening experience, interwoven with skits, scratching and irresistible loops. Expect many more videos from the pair of New York prankster pioneers.

 

 

  • Bad-Things1LA rock band Bad Things – that consists of front man/lead singer Davis LeDuke, bass player Jared Palomar, guitarist Anthony Sanudo, drummer Lena Zawaideh and lead guitarist Shaun White, the professional snowboarder and skateboarder – has signed to Warner Bros. Records and will be putting out their debut album later this year. The first offering from the album is a booming track called “Caught Inside,” which is now streaming on the band’s SoundCloud. Bad Things will be hitting the road next month, playing two shows in NYC – Popshop July 11th at Santos Party House and Brooklyn Bowl on July 13th – followed by a Northeast and Midwest headlining run.
