Nine Inch Nails Posed For A Major Comeback With “Hesitation Marks”

Nine-Inch-Nails1(PCM) This year is shaping up to be a pretty good year for Nine Inch Nails. The band has been receiving rave reviews following their recent performances at both Lollapalooza and Outside Lands and now with their upcoming new album “Hesitation Marks” due out on September 3rd, be prepared to throw out any pre-conceived notions about this band right out the window!

The heart of Nine Inch Nails and their music comes from founder and vocalist Trent Reznor’s fearless approach to creating songs and soundscapes that take the listener on a true musical journey. It is absolutely refreshing to see an artist that is not afraid to take chances, something so few band’s seem to be doing these days.

The new album, which is currently streaming for free via iTunes, prior to its’ release gives fans their only chance to hear the full album prior to the September 3rd release date. It was fantastic to be able to check out the album and without a doubt it is sure to earn its’ place as one of the best of the band’s extensive career.

The lead single “Came Back Haunted” is tearing it’s way up the radio charts and it will surely be follow-up up by additional singles such as “Copy Of A” and “Everything” which in their own right are creating a lot of buzz. This album showcases the more contemplative side of the band, but it is still not without it’s moments of raw aggression and Trent’s poetic and somewhat haunting vocals.

Nine Inch Nails will play an intimate show for fans at the legendary Troubadour club in Los Angeles on September 3, coinciding with the release of Hesitation Marks. “Tension 2013,” the band’s North American fall arena tour, will kick off on September 28.

We are gearing up to catch Nine Inch Nails at both the Budweiser Made In America Festival in Philadelphia, PA on 9/1 and Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans from 11/1 -11/3, so definitely be sure to stay tuned to PCM for our upcoming live recaps and photos from the shows.
