(PCM) Words can not even express how truly honored we were to be able to sit down and chat with legendary musician Billy Squier at this year’s Voodoo Music + Arts Experience 2013. The festival was held in the gorgeous festival grounds inside New Orleans historic City Park and made for an absolutely incredible weekend of music, art, and culture.
Squiers’ performance at this year’s festival had to be one of the most brave, as he took the stage armed only with his guitar and put on one of the weekends most raw, exposing and hypnotic performances of the entire weekend.
Squier had his work cut out for him with a set time that put him on stage up against performance from both Nine Inch Nails and Afrojack on nearby stages, but he did more than hold his own, he absolutely owned the stage and the crowd as well! It was a brilliant performance that left shivers down my spine.
