(PCM) Coachella has continued to grow in scope and popularity over the last decade, attracting music lovers from around the globe and fans of all genres and backgrounds to the annual two-weekend, three-day arts and music festival.
With every subsequent Coachella comes bigger headliners, more diverse lineups, and a fresh round of complaints from those who feel the festival is becoming increasingly more corporate and hipster-filled with every passing year.
When I attended Weekend 2 in 2014, I didn’t feel bombarded by brands or hipsters, just incredible live performances and an all around great time.
Unfortunately, tickets for Coachella went on sale and sold out today; General Admission and VIP tickets for both Weekends 1 and 2 are completely sold out, save for the GA and VIP tickets that are included in the 2 person tee-pee and 4 person tent passes, ranging from $2350 to $5200.
Coachella’s 2015 lineup includes a few surprises as well as a number of predictable names. Australian “Highway to Hell” hard rock band AC/DC will close Friday night, Detroit rocker Jack White headlines on Saturday, and “Started From the Bottom” rapper Drake closing out the festival on Sunday night.
Check out the full lineup for both weekends below and head over to Coachella.com if you’d like more info, but rememeber: the festival is already sold out! While you’re at it, check out The Verge’s hilarious top ten list of “font size shockers” from Coachella’s 2015 lineup poster.
