(PCM) Last night, two party boys from down south invaded the Big Apple and sold out one of the most storied venues in the world – Madison Square Garden. “We were out last night with the folks who run this place,” Tyler Hubbard said to the capacity crowd. “And we told them that Florida Georgia Line sold this place out, so they better be ready!” Cue the crowd going wild.

After great opening sets from up-and-comers Frankie Ballard and Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line took the stage. They opened with “Every Night”, the final song on their latest studio album Anything Goes. From there, the band proceeded to play a hefty 21-song set. They dropped hits like “Dirt”, “Good Good”, “Get Your Shine On”, “Sippin’ On Fire”, and “This Is How We Roll.”

FLG kicked off their encore with their latest smash hit “Sun Daze” which is currently dominating country radio. Because the boys have a style all their own, they threw in a medley of pop and hip-hop tracks like Bruno Mars’ “Treasure”, Dr. Dre and Eminem’s “Forgot About Dre”, Meghan Trainor’s “All About The Bass”, and others. Another highlight of the evening came with a cover of the great Garth Brook’s “Friends In Low Places”. The band closed out the show with their first big hit and fan-favorite “Cruise.”

The third song of the night, however – “Round Here” – summed up the show perfectly. Whether it’s at the edge of a small town down south or in the heart of one of the biggest cities in the world, Florida Georgia Line does it all the same. That’s just how they do it ‘round here, no matter where here is.

Florida Georgia Line formed in Nashville, TN in 2010. Their second EP It’z Just What We Do dropped in 2012 and began to draw attention from major record labels. In July 2012, the band inked a record deal with Republic Nashville and began work on their major label debut. The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200, but quickly rocketed to #4 as well as #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. It produced a string of hit singles including their signature chart-topper “Cruise”. The disc went on to sell well over 2 million copies in the U.S. alone. The band supported the record by touring with the likes of country superstars Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Jake Owen, and Luke Bryan.
