(PCM) Several sources are claiming that Bruno Mars could be returning to the Super Bowl Half-Time Show just two years after he appeared alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was revealed that Mars has been invited by the NFL to make a return for Super Bowl 50 which will take place in Santa Clara, California on February 7, 2016.
At only 28-years old Mars brought in the largest viewing audience for the Super Bowl Half-Time Show at the time and his amazing performance was also the most-viewed event in the history of U.S. television. Last year’s Half-Time Show performer Katy Perry did manage to beat Mars in terms of overall viewership as she brought in 121 million viewers versus his 115 million.
Much the disappoint of many, Mars may not actually be performing at the Big Game, as he was asked by the NFL to curate the Half-Time Show, but needless to say we are sure he will be gracing the stage at some point if he agrees to return and of course bring along some amazing guests to perform as well!
